Assisting with the operations of the department and providing leadership to direct and indirect reports. Building a strong team through recruiting, staffing, professional development, coaching, and/or corrective action as needed.
Participates in the development of annual plans including budgets, forecasts, workforce and business continuity plans. Manages and monitors performance against plan. Drives accountability of self and staff while developing future talent.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for the project's accounting ledgers via ensuring appropriate control and audit procedures while adhering to federal and state laws and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
