Responsible for the operations of the market, the delegation of responsibility within the market and the establishment of formal means of accountability in order to ensure meeting all business objectives in a cost effective manner.
Provides leadership for the development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of pharmacy controls, including facility standards, uniform processes, policies, procedures, risk assessment process, and tools and templates for monitoring activities to address changes in current laws and regulations and/or revisions to current laws and regulations related to pharmacy compliance.
Participates in all safety, security and infection control programs that are mandatory as well as those required and provided by the department; complies with internal and external regulations, policies, and procedures. Participates in achieving nursing division goals and supports shared governance structure.
Develop a detailed annual operating budget. Assure achievement of annual budget in revenues and profits. The budget is an operating plan and defines required levels of achievement of the General Manager and his staff.
This Manager role is primarily responsible for driving improvement by leading and managing the Field Quality Assurance team involved with identification and resolution efforts as they pertain to Utility product field issues.
