Suggests and submits recommendations for improving safety or environmental conditions. Conducts or arranges for worker training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques, operational procedures, environmental awareness, or equipment use.
Fosters professional development of subordinates through coaching and feedback on results; shares personal knowledge and experience; moves decisively on performance problems; practices attentive and active listening.
Escalate and track technical and commercial issues for timely resolution and internal learning; develop regional service team to be self-reliant, properly trained and cohesive to provide optimum customer services.
Responsible for overall operations at an assigned plant including, but not limited to, supply management, production scheduling, manufacturing, shipping, warehouse, maintenance, people management, and implementation of change initiatives.
The Facility Safety Manager, reporting to the Regional Director of Safety has responsibility to oversee, guide and advise operations management regarding the administration of their Warehouse, Transportation and Food Safety Program at the Distribution level.
