Responsible for all facets of multi - state, multi-company payroll tax processing, system maintenance and reporting in compliance with all regulatory and governing agencies as well as company policies and procedures.
The Payroll Officer must supervise daily operation of the payroll unit including processing payroll cycles, providing support for payroll accounting and related regulatory reporting and filing requirements.
Design, document, implement and manage policies and procedures with respect to revenue recognition, accounts payable, accounts receivables, payroll, month end close and other accounting operations to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Provide consultative, service oriented, support to senior level business leaders to ensure they have the necessary understanding of the systems, processes, and data available to them for managing the payroll cost distributions.
This individual will be responsible for computing, classifying and recording financial transactions to ensure the financial records are accurate. The bookkeeper also performs routine financial calculations and general ledger duties.
Develops implements and maintains internal financial controls for the service sites, including all Pcard duties, supervising and preparing payroll, processing mileage and expense reports and maintaining fixed asset systems.
