The Senior Mechanical Engineer reports to the High Pressure Systems Supervisor. This position is part the team that develops High Pressure Pumps and High Pressure Accessories for our Abrasive Waterjet Machining Systems.
Directs personnel in the receipt of materials and supplies against quantities ordered and quality of specifications and advises purchasing department of deviations; prepares required forms for shift and leaves for department manager's approval.
Suggests and submits recommendations for improving safety or environmental conditions. Conducts or arranges for worker training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques, operational procedures, environmental awareness, or equipment use.
Fosters professional development of subordinates through coaching and feedback on results; shares personal knowledge and experience; moves decisively on performance problems; practices attentive and active listening.
Escalate and track technical and commercial issues for timely resolution and internal learning; develop regional service team to be self-reliant, properly trained and cohesive to provide optimum customer services.
