Establishes and leads operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse/distribution center inventory current
Ensures all reports are developed to fulfill expectations of their duties. Set objectives for cross-training employees. Leads safety program. Drives continuous improvement. Ensures key reports have a successor.
Manage, direct and coordinate regional and global efforts for centralized RFP and RFI responses; ensure tactical alignment with business unit strategies and provide feedback and input by participation in strategy development business development.
Evaluate gathered information, identify and reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract general understanding from low-level information, and distinguish wants from true needs.
Focus on Lean techniques, quality management processes, and cost control methodologies within the operations to achieve company goals and profit levels, continued business growth, and long-term relationships with customers.
Team Member Relations: Use exposure to the business and People experience to provide initial response to potential issues, then escalating to the Team Member Relations team once an issue has been identified.
This person will directly oversee both our field and warehouse management teams, and will be responsible for managing all day-to-day operations in our Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego markets.
