Technology Managers must understand not only IT management philosophy and systems development, but have a complete grasp of technological strategies in relation to business strategies. This is a high-level and demanding position. Overseeing the work of teams of tech experts, problem-solving on many levels, and keeping productivity high, is a daily responsibility. Qualifications include robust experience and a bachelor’s degree in IT, with a major in computer science or related field.
