Tax professionals help companies keep their finances in order, while seeking opportunities to save money, help the company during audits, and more. A career in the tax industry includes all levels of government, corporate tax offices and professional service firms. From business tax services, to mergers and acquisitions, global investment, private wealth, international tax and more, specialization options are many. Tax professionals must be detail-orientated, analytical and business-orientated. Other qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a specialization in tax, and a CPA certification.
