Plant and Facilities Managers strategize, organize, and effectively run operations within a company-owned plant or facility. Regardless of the industry, plant and facilities managers are responsible for optimal production, uptime and efficiency. Output, quality control, and on-time shipping all fall under the mandate of a plant or facilities manager, with cost reduction, task assignment, data collation and assessment, equipment and tools inspections and more being daily duties. Qualifications include leadership skills and a at least a bachelor’s in industrial engineering or business administration.
