Careers in Physical Sciences

Professionals with expertise in the physical sciences may be adept in any area of astronomy, physics, chemistry and the earth sciences (including geology, hydrology and atmospheric sciences). Environmental Engineers, Lab Technicians, and Forensic Scientists will have expert knowledge in Geoscience, Physics, and Chemistry, respectively. Some experts may have combined specialties. Many career paths are, of course, open to professionals in the fields covered by the term Physical Sciences. Qualifications include bachelor’s, master’s and possibly doctoral degrees in related fields.
