Careers in Interior Design

Interior Designers use multidisciplinary technical and creative solutions to create an aesthetically pleasing interior for their clients. Practicality of living in or visiting an interior space is also key. Enhancement of experience within an interior space is, therefore, the central goal of interior design. Listening skills are important, as all documented development plans, drawings and diagrams will be based on the client’s expression of desires and needs. Qualifications include anything from a BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design, to a BA in interior architecture, spatial design or design.
