The Art Director will be responsible for leading, overseeing and providing creative counsel on all graphic design and artwork to ensure high quality and consistency of MTA and NYCT branding, look, and feel across multimedia channels.
Work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Mentors and develops the creative team (direct reports include the heads of graphic design, video production and web development); leads the development of all creative and must understand and apply the new brand strategies in the execution of creative assignments.
Design a fun, on-brand Google Slides template for internal and external presentations; create fantabulous email promo graphics that are trend right on-brand and that incorporate what we know resonates with our users.
This will require a strong point of view on design, handson creation of experiences, developing strategies for implementation within a complex ecosystem and building meaningful relationships within the organization.
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to understand and deliver creative solutions across product launches and marketing programs, including print, digital, web, product interfaces, videos, sales collateral, and visual concepts.
