Additionally, the Medical Director of Advisory Services typically leads the utilization management committee for the hospital, collaborating with other departments and leading utilization management initiatives, such as length of stay reduction.

Work in conjunction with model developers, model owners, and business unit risk managers to establish model risk ratings, and to develop robust business-unit model approval and model change management processes.
Coordinate with the Clinic Manager, Medical Director and other staff to set appropriate goals for the clinic. Communicate clinic goals to employees and ensure that they have the tools and means necessary to achieve them.
