Supplements the Business Development and Project Development Departments in identifying and developing new business opportunities. Assists in contacting, qualifying, and pursuing leads for new business opportunities. Prepares estimates and proposals as necessary for potential new work.
Develop and continuously update the strategic plan for assigned region, with the goal of dramatically increasing the size and quality of the prospect pool; plan will include coordinating activity with other central units (principal and leadership gifts, annual fund, alumni relations, admissions) as well as school/ community based programs.
Manage a team of major gift officers who range in gifts from annual to leadership level; provide the motivation and guidance for gift officers to maximize productivity; regularly monitor and evaluate performance.
Provides advanced level content expertise in developing, implementing, communicating and administering University-wide compensation programs and policies in order to recruit, retain, and reward a qualified and diverse workforce.
