Our current opportunity is Washington DC based. 

The Assocate Director on our Data Integration Services team will work collaboratively in a small start-up environment to implement and support member installations of EAB technologies as well as manage our software as a service hardware platform.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and deploy data extraction processes that conform to individual EAB product file specifications
- Ensure barriers to timely completion of Data Integration Services projects are anticipated and overcome
- Contribute to team’s knowledge around common Higher Education IT information systems
- Serve as a resource to Marketing team selling engagements that include data extraction services
- Work with members to determine the most appropriate data export capabilities of their SIS/CRM/ERP systems
- Build and foster strong relationships with all levels of technical staff at client institutions
- Troubleshoot technical and non-technical challenges
- Provide technical expertise and support to both internal and external resources
- Identify potential opportunities within organization to apply Data Integration Services’ technical expertise into product development, project implementation and marketing process
- Present and support deliverable documentation at completion of Data Integration Services engagements
- Support and lead calls for prospective alpha partners around EAB’s data acquisition methodology and process

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree 
- Valid Driver’s License
- Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically
- Understanding of database design and data structures with 4+ years of experience in data extraction utilizing SQL (MS SQL Server/Oracle databases and/or other relational databases)
- 4+ years of project and client management experience (both remote and on-site) 
- Ability to manage all aspects of a software implementation and management of projects including:
     - providing overall guidance and direction
     - communicating progress to stake holders
     - risk identification and mitigation
     - facilitating problem solving
     - ensuring code quality
     - relationship management
     - ability to participate in strategic planning and set team direction accordingly
- Experience presenting to and/or facilitating conversations with executive level audience
- Experience with establishing secure data connections through SFTP
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills 
- Ability to be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced work environment
- Exhibit a high level of organizational skills and sense of personal accountability
- Experience managing multiple projects and relationships simultaneously

Ideal Qualifications: 
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or technology related field
- Experience in all of the following: 
     - Proven familiarity with at least 3 Higher Education system providers (including but not limited to Ellucian, Jenzabar, PeopleSoft, SLATE, Hobsons)
     - Understanding of higher education systems data, protocols, database architecture and data governance
     - Experience working in a fast paced, start-up environment
     - Experience working with a software-as-a-service application
     - Experience working with database imports of various text file formats
     - Solution-focused problem solving
