This carrier is part of a publicly traded company with approximately $4.6b billion in annual revenue. They are focused on providing cutting-edge benefits solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. As part of their new Worksite Solutions offering, they seek a talented Product Development professional whose expertise is within Worksite Benefits. The Product Director is responsible for establishing the Group Supplemental product line and development of strategic and tactical planning.

This will include:

  • Drive product development of new group supplemental benefits, which would include both voluntary products (critical illness, accident, etc.) and traditional non-medical employee benefits (STD, life, dental, etc.)
  • Manage, implement, and maintain state insurance products and programs
  • Partner with Sales to develop distribution and compensation strategy; recruit new distribution channels and opportunities
  • Direct the profitability, conservation, refinement, and geographic expansion of existing business and implementation of any new product structures
  • Ensure all state and product initiatives are complaint with regulations, consistent within the division, and meet with company strategies


The skills and experiences we seek:

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience in group supplemental benefits
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and analyze complex data sets
  • Highly proficient in managing and manipulating data in Excel, Access, and preferably in SAS
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills


Salary

$130K - $160K
