The Consultant drives consultation, education and automation engagements leveraging Avantas proprietary HELM (Healthcare Enterprise Labor Management) methodology and our software-as-a-service, Smart Square, to ensure objectives and optimize the client relationship to fully utilize the Center of Excellence model. This

position drives the effort to deepen relationships with additional products and services in collaboration with other functional areas within Avantas. The position also serves as a senior advisor and mentor on multiple

projects and client engagement/optimization processes.

Job Tasks: 

  • Drives the ongoing relationship between assigned clients and Avantas.
  • Influences the client at key decision points to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Assists in expanding the scope of client relationships with additional products and services in collaboration with other functional areas within Avantas.
  • Identifies, analyzes, interprets and presents trends relevant to the client’s business and objectives.
  • Drives end-to-end consultation, education and automation engagements in a variety of client of environments.
  • Maintains highest level subject matter expertise (SME), including current Avantas Work Strategies methodologies.  Delivers SME in a convincing, engaging manner using a variety of written and spoken delivery methods.
  • Develops and delivers technical and strategic curriculum.
  • Frequently contributes to projects within other Avantas functional areas to meet client needs.
  • Seeks to obtain, utilize, and provide ongoing feedback. Coaches less experienced team members.
  • Policy and process improvement (lean initiatives, process improvement type of projects)
  • Manager/Directors are main audience – interviews, side-by-side training and majority of interactions
  • Executive presence and strong experience in both written reports and in-person presentation skills
  • Taking variety of data metrics and tying to operational and process changes to drive for an ROI
  • Skilled at driving for results, action planning and leading teams to complete initiatives on-time/on-budget

Education, Certifications & Experience

        Minimum Education/Certifications: 

  • Four yeardegree in a business related field

        Minimum Experience: 

  • Five or more years of successful client management

        Preferred Experience

  • Experience in  healthcare industry strongly preferred
