Position Summary:

Workflow & Competitive Intelligence Manager will perform primary and secondary research to develop actionable intelligence, expert insights and market implications to positively impact the business. As part of the Product Management team, the Workflow & Competitive Intelligence Manager will be responsible for monitoring the competitive landscape, building subject matter expertise on key competitors and market segments, performing deep dive research and analysis and providing impactful deliverables to business and commercial teams. You will work closely with senior leadership and other stakeholders across multiple functions, including commercial, business development and marketing.


Utilize external sources to track competitor activity relevant to current/future business, regions, and customer segments.

Analyze and understand the competitive environment, product positioning, organizational structure, go-to-market strategy and pricing.

Automate data collection and improve efficiency of competitive intelligence distribution.

Performing quantitative and qualitative research and analyses.

Provide analysis of competitive workflows and construct counter points.

Conduct VoS and VoC to gain insights into win/lost.

Introduce or suggest useful competitive intelligence tools.

Develop and maintain competitor database.


Education and Experience:


BS degree in life science; advanced degree a plus.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, marketing or product management within imaging or genomic area.

Strong communication and well developed analytical skills are a must.


Demonstrated proficiency in using data and information to develop insights and conclusions.

Effective reporting of findings based on strong technical, communication and presentation skills.

Resourceful, naturally curious, enthusiastic and creative.

Demonstrated ability in analytical decision-making, troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Team-oriented with strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Solid planning, organizational and documentation skills to track and monitor priorities.

Ability to work in globally culture environment.
