Our Workday Engineer will be responsible for the following:

CORE COMPETENCIES

?       Seeks ongoing improvements to the organization?s processes and procedures.

?       Prioritizes Production Support tasks appropriately, ensuring that emerging, urgent issues are resolved without losing sight of Agile stories and sprint goals.

?       Works within the Agile framework to help team complete and deliver assignments on time and within sprint timeframes.

?       Takes advantage of available resources to complete work efficiently; coordinates withinternal and external partners.

?       Allocates appropriate amounts of time for completing one?s own work and to provide guidance to more junior members with their work; develops others as necessary.

?       Demonstrates effective techniques in holding meetings, planning time, setting priorities, setting timelines and deadlines, and making effective use of time.

?       Performs independently; informs managers or senior leaders of progress and issues encountered during daily standups; recommends solutions as necessary.

?       Oversees completion of less experienced team member?s work; provides guidance to senior level team members on highly complex assignments or projects with a major impact.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND PRIMARY DUTIES

?       The successful Team Member will perform, manage or lead a cross-section of the following duties throughout the Agile development lifecycle:

?       Software development.

?       Creation of system documentation for software development and quality assurance processes.

?       Analysis and documentation of data requirements for the development of databases.

?       Quality assurance.

?       Business intelligence analysis and reporting.

?       Configuration management.

?       Management of technical projects.

?       Engineering methodologies, processes and procedures.

?       Builds relationships across the organization and with external partners.

 

WORK RELATIONSHIPS

?       Collaborates with the IT engineering team, the IT operations team and internal clients to create new functionality, and to troubleshoot and resolve reported problems.

?       Manages vendor relationships and deliverables.

?       Mentors other engineers.

 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

?       Minimum three years?experiencesupporting Workday applications.

?       Minimum 6years supporting other corporate applications (PeopleSoft, Oracle, Taleo, SAP, Salesforce, etc.).

?       Experience implementing and supporting Workday HCM, including Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Absence Tracking, Recruiting and Time Tracking preferred. 

?       Strong technical knowledge of WorkdaySecurity, Business Processes, Integrations, Tenant Configuration and Custom Reports.

 

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/LICENSES AND CERTIFICATION

?       Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline from an accredited college or university.

?       Five years applied technical experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

?       Possess current Agile Certification.

?       Experience using Agile-based methodologies (such as Extreme Programming and Scrum) within a software development function.
