Job Description

We are looking for a Windows Support Specialist for a Direct Hire opportunity in Austin, TX. You will be joining a very progressive NOC Center in South Austin. Candidates must thrive in a very fast-paced and  “think on your feet” environment.The primary function of the Tier III Data Center technician is to monitor and respond to service-related issues impacting customers through queue management, and to act as a resource for Tier I and Tier II technicians.

 

Responsibilities:

Monitor the Data Center

Monitor and respond to in-depth technical questions from Tier I and Tier II Technicians

Partner with Engineering team on Customer implementations

Track and respond quickly to alert events

Provide in-depth support and knowledge to network issues and change request

Assist in development of technician process and procedures, including development and training of Tier I and Tier II technicians

 

Requirements:

3+ years of experience with Data Center Technologies and or working in a NOC

Software and Hardware firewall implementations

Experience with Microsoft servers and client

Technical support for Microsoft applications including Exchange, SQL Server, and Active Directory

Experience with EMC Storage
