Candidate will support the development and ongoing update of transponder models in the Consolidated Network Planning Software (CNPS) for centrally managed Commercial SATCOM resource planning. The candidate can also support the Commercial SATCOM apportionment planning and allocation processes, to include accepting validated Satellite Access Requests, generating Satellite Access Authorizations, and resource allocation management; and develop lessons learned to inform successive centralized bandwidth acquisitions and resource allocation activities.
 
 
Required: Candidate shall possess at least five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience with or education in communication principles and theory in SATCOM, access processes, in Wideband SATCOM systems. Must have experience in planning and evaluating network definitions on the Consolidated Network Planning Software (CNPS), Joint SATCOM Management and Planning System (JSMPS), and Joint Integrated SATCOM Tool (JIST) (PWS 1.5.1.1). Must have experience with Wideband Satellite Communication systems scheduled upgrades (PWS 1.5.1.1). Must have experience with the SATCOM apportionment planning and allocation processes taking into consideration all ground, space, and control networks, and operational control of sub-networks for apportioned SATCOM resources (PWS 1.5.1.1). Candidate must have experience with Teleports, DOD Gateways, Defense Satellite Communications System, Consolidated Network Planning Software (CNPS). Must be able to pass drug test and background check prior to start of work. Must be a United States Citizen.
 
Desired:  Candidate is desired to possess a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a technical field. Preferred includes Global Broadcast System (GBS) and Integrated Broadcast System (IBS).
 
Candidate must possess an Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance. This is a full-time position located in Omaha, NE.
