Position Overview


The main goal of the Wholesale Account Executive will be to attract and retain brokers, and their originators, who will submit loans, resulting in funding and meet or exceed expectations.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for generating residential mortgages from Wholesale Brokers
  • Conducts outside sales calls to mortgage brokers to originate residential purchase and refinance loans
  • Provide exceptional customer service, guidance and support to Fremont Bank wholesale customers
  • This position's emphasis will be placed on originating new purchase business and developing relationships with mortgage brokers
  • The product focus is purchase money, refinances conforming, jumbo loans for both conventional and government products
  • The Wholesale Account Executive will also be encouraged to promote other business including deposits and referrals to the Financial Services

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience as a "self sourced" Wholesale Account Executive
  • Proficient computer skills and strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of underwriting and processing guidelines
  • High integrity individual with excellent customer service skills
  • Effective negotiation, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to develop new referral sources and manage personal database of clients to meet performance goals
  • Desire and commitment to excel in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • 5+ years' experience in wholesale lending
