Job Description


In this newly created, exciting and challenging role, we are seeking an individual who can hit the ground running immediately, multi-task, security focused and manage projects quickly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities:

IT Liaison:

  • Ensures web servers, hardware and software are operating accurately
    • Conduct vendor evaluation for hosted sites
    • Review vulnerabilities and work on remediation
    • Work with Cyber Security Analyst on monitoring CMS related vulnerabilities
  • Ensure internal browsers are current/up to date and optimal for employees
  • Regulates and manages access rights of different users on the websites
    • Ensure SOX policies are followed and our best practices extended
  • Assist with transitioning acquisitions/brands into ERP
  • Plan to move websites/intranet and CMS tools in-house on our servers or outline a plan to redesign if the site was developed in outdated unsecured technologies
  • Partner with the team on multi/media (Chat, Text, CTI, eMail, Case creation) design/development
  • Special Projects: Become SME/project manager for large scale/ecommerce/systems and billing company initiatives (i.e. electronic billing)


Marketing/Sales/Websites Support:

  • Website Management & Maintenance (for all brands, acquisitions):
    • CMS (Sitefinity, .Net Framework & WordPress): generate page templates; manage scripts as necessary
    • Create/modify settings and appearances of websites
    • Liaise monthly with online marketing manager/designers/marketing re: all aspects of websites
    • Plan for future website enhancements/upgrades/functionality
    • Work with vendors to ensure functionality, monitor links/issues, and ensure forms are always working.
    • Address bugs/performance issues with websites to maintain functionality
  • Ensures vendor web servers, hardware and software are operating accurately
    • Due diligence must be conducted up front before selecting a vendor, and partner with IT.
    • Conduct vendor evaluation for hosted sites
    • Review vulnerabilities and work on remediation
    • Ensure all PCI, PII, HIPAA and regulator protocols are followed.
  • Examine and analyze site traffic (statistics, trends, insights, evaluations, etc.)
  • Assist Marketing/Sales in modifying how we acquire customers online -- via iChat, online applications, etc.
  • Assist with the development of automatic campaigns for customer retention, communications (re: service), positive comments solicitation
  • Email Marketing: assist with technical aspects including:
    • Back-end set-up with IT as necessary; Cname, DKIM, subdomains, A Records, Certificates
    • ERP & CRM "Email" Status Updates
    • clean-up project to scrub our lists and employ an 'unsubscribe' feature (do not call, do not mail, etc) in Salesforce
    • Email Marketing Processes: opt-outs, invalids & other; communication to database vendor
  • eBill Platform: develop a solid 'My Accounts' area for our customers that would be more relational



  • CMS Tool: technical management & changes


General Skills:

  • Strong Project Management skills necessary
  • Ability to interview business Subject Matter Experts individually or in groups to identify and document business rules and requirements
  • Understand technology needed to support knowledge sharing program, including external benchmarking and evaluation programs
  • Understanding of regulatory, legal, privacy and intellectual property issues surrounding the internet

Software Skills and Resources that are needed:

  • Client browser CMS (Sitefinity, .Net Framework & WordPress
  • Plus (Javascript/Java) and Server-side controls for .NET
  • QA/testing work and software testing
  • Microsoft server technologies including .NET, MS/SQL
  • Design & development tools: Adobe Creative Suite - including high proficiency in:
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce), and CRMS
    • InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, After Effects, Illustrator and Flash


Bachelor's degree with 10 + years systems implementation experience or business consulting experience. Previous consulting on multiple large-scale integration projects a plus. Experience with ERP/CRM integration with web site ACH and/or EDI transaction processing as well as credit card processing and settlement as well as experience in a large consumer, marketing driven business. The ability to frequently travel between the Woodbury, NY and Southfield, NJ sites.
