Overview

The Mid-Level Web Developer will support the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). This is a critical role in the maintenance and modernization of the NAVSUP Enterprise Web (NEW) environment. The primary focus will be providing full-stack development supportfor theMyNAVSUPintranet portaland other mission-critical custom applications.

Responsibilities
  • Application Development & Maintenance:Design, code, and testcustom web applicationsand services for theNEW environment, ensuring theyremainmission-ready and efficient.
  • Modernization & Automation:Transform manual Navy processes intointelligent digital workflowsand automated solutions to enhance readiness across the enterprise.
  • System Integration:Integrate data fromvarious back-end servicesand databases to provide a seamless user experience across theMyNAVSUPsuite.
  • Compliance & Accessibility:Ensure all web products meet stringentSection 508 accessibility standardsandDoD security requirements.
  • Documentation:Create and maintain detailedtechnical documentation, including system configurations and "as-built" documentation.
Qualifications
  • US Citizenship and Active DoD Clearance.
  • Minimum of 5-7yearsof professional web development experience (Journeyman level), preferably in agovernment or DoD environment.

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

  • CurrentDoD 8570/8140 compliance (e.g., Security+ CE) is highly preferred.

  • Front-End:ProficiencyinHTML5, CSS, and JavaScript (including modearn frameworks like React or Angular).

  • Back-End:Experience withASP.NET, C#, or Javaand building/consuming RESTful APIs.

  • Database:Strong knowledge ofSQL Serveror other relational databases.

Target Pay RangeThe below listed pay range for this position is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The final offered salary will be influenced by a host of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
