Summary:

The Web Developer will work on the IT team at SBP and will be responsible for maintenance, configuration changes, and web site modification.  They will be responsible for development of SBP SharePoint based Intranet and all sites contained within, external collaboration sites, and any one-off websites that fall under the care of IT.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides website build-out support including content formatting, graphics manipulation, SharePoint site configuration, feature enhancements, and training to both labs and administrative departments, as requested
  • Assists with both Windows server and SharePoint system administration, performance monitoring, and security and permissions maintenance
  • Serve as primary point of contact for end user reported issues and as the escalation support person for the helpdesk
  • Completes workflow and InfoPath form development
  • Recommends software and hardware enhancements, diagnoses and corrects issues, defines and implements new services with the goal of achieving maximum server uptime and availability
  • Performs application and platform Q&A and testing
  • Adheres to EA SDLC process and procedures for the purpose of collaborative development and source control
  • Implement all solutions in accordance with IT Security policies and best practices

 

Required Experience

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Management or similar studies is required
  • Three years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained is required
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; T-SQL, Microsoft server operating systems is preferred

 

Other Requirements and/or Specifications:

  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint 2010/2013/Online, SharePoint services (BCS, Visio, Excel), SharePoint Enterprise Search and Taxonomies
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft SQL; SSIS/SSRS; programming/scripting; Windows Server administration
  • Able to perform analytical problem solving while developing applications, performs need analysis and troubleshoots application and database issues
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication for technical/complex information
  • Have a positive customer-service approach, and demonstrates high level of professionalism when interacting with employees at all levels
  • Able to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperation, understanding, reliability and credibility
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Be responsible, organized, and a problem solver
