Web Developer at Knexus Research Corp in Oxon Hill, MD

We are looking for a Web Developer who can design and implement an impressive user interface for our mine countermeasure mission planning project (AMORE). You will work with our AI software engineers who have developed the algorithms and back-end system to create a pretty (and functional!) front-end application.

What will you be doing at Knexus?

• Using Angular 6 to design, implement, test, and deploy the web application
• Gather feedback from our client on the UI and execute requested changes and improvements
• Collaborate with our software engineers on function and design of the interface
• Develop the application using industry-standard tools and technologies
• Provide detailed documentation of your work

Sadly, we can’t take everyone who knocks down the door to join our team. We do have some requirements for the position:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years experience as a web application developer
• Proficiency in Node.js web development ecosystem, preferably Angular
• Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience consuming and interacting with RESTful APIs
