JOB SUMMARY: Under general direction combines deep technical skills with strong managerial skills to help ANTHC design and build the next generation web applications including the corporate intranet and custom web solutions. Works with business users to analyze business needs, capture business requirements, and lead all phases of the development life cycle.
Manages a small Web Applications team and is responsible for developing a vision and technical plan for supporting the organization's web application needs, including strategies for expanding the use of Sharepoint.
Responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring that core ANTHC SharePoint systems and web applications are stable, reliable and secure.
Provide technical leadership regarding the SharePoint infrastructure and the development of SharePoint applications.
Lead the enterprise-wide deployment of SharePoint 2016 (ANTHC is in the process of upgrading from Sharepoint 2010).
Create and implement plans for ANTHC's SharePoint and web presence. Assess infrastructure to ensure adequacy of implemented solutions.
Responsible for SharePoint administration, security configuration, and high availability design. Supports team members in IT with learning SharePoint, including developers, support and operations staff. Incorporates industry best practices into the local enterprise SharePoint environment.
Mentors others who develop SharePoint applications. Help them to be capable of independently creating effective SharePoint applications for functional teams.
Provides training to SharePoint users across the consortium to ensure ease in using SharePoint. Builds an interdepartmental network of SharePoint power users, who are capable of sustaining local applications, and who serve as the first layer of support for SharePoint questions.
Manages full application development lifecycle, from conception through design, implementation and to maintenance. Responsible for overseeing testing plans and ensuring usability across multiple platforms.
Present designs and solutions to Stakeholders for acceptance for User Acceptance Testing
Develop all necessary documentation; test plans, user guides, and solution documentation
Manages on call and after hours support for production systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
Knowledge of architecting, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint 2010, 2013, and/or 2016.
Knowledge of SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web parts, workflow creation, content management, and search engine optimization.
Knowledge of Nintex Workflows and Process automation.
Knowledge of PowerShell and scripting.
Knowledge of SSRS and SSIS for Microsoft SQL Server.
Skill in designing and implementing a medium-large organization's information architecture.
Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and competing priorities.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and oral and written communication skills.
Skill in structured development methodologies.

MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Non-supervisory – Seven (7) years professional work experience as a developer for Microsoft platforms with five (5) of those as a developer for SharePoint. Previous experience in successfully rolling out SharePoint for a mid to large sized organization.
Supervisory – Supervisory – Two (2) years of the seven (7) non-supervisory years must be in a supervisory capacity.

Significant knowledge of SharePoint 2016 platform and its Out-of-Box capabilities and extensibilities

Expertise in using PowerShell for SharePoint with ability to write complex scripts.
Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATION
Microsoft SharePoint certification.
Microsoft development certification is desired.
Certification in SharePoint is strongly preferred.
