CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a
Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our
Water/Wastewater Team from our office in either
Richmond, VA; Blacksburg, VA; or
Charlotte, NC. YOUR IMPACTCHA has developed thousands of water-related projects, each taking into account our clients' unique environmental, water quality, permitability, and funding concerns. Our water and wastewater management offerings include full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal wastewater treatment systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.
At CHA, the Water/Wastewater Project Manager works diligently to complete projects within the scope, budget and schedule. This key role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial or logistical issues that may arise. Our Project Managers are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem solving and adapting and staying calm under pressure.
The Water/Wastewater Project Manager coordinates contracts with the clients and subcontractors, manages purchase orders, and oversees all other project related documents. The professional in this role is responsible for all project financials and subcontractor payments, clearly communicates updates to the client, management and project team, and attends monthly project review meetings with operations.
The Water/Wastewater Project Manager develops project specific health and safety plan in coordination with health and safety manager and is responsible for verifying that projects meet required QA/QC compliance as determined by Quality Management Plan.

REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management or related required; Master's Degree preferred
- PE or equivalent professional license preferred
- PMP certification preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of experience required; a minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience required
- Proven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
- A self-starter who excels in a high-paced work environment and work well independently
