Provide support for civil and environmental engineering projects including wastewater collection system infrastructure evaluation, rehabilitation, and design; and water distribution system design.
Position responsibilities will include technical report writing; pipeline routing alternatives design and analysis; field investigations/site reconnaissance; project permitting and coordination with regulatory agencies; data collection; utility coordination; erosion/sedimentation control and tree protection plans; engineering cost estimating and analysis; wastewater flow development and hydraulics analysis; engineering design calculations; engineering specification review and preparation of contract documents for construction; bid and award services; and construction phase engineering services.
Provide support for environmental projects including environmental sampling field work, data management/tabulation and analysis, subcontractor oversight, and reporting.
Prepare project scopes of work and budget estimates; coordinate with team surveying, geotechnical, structural engineering, and electrical engineering subconsultants; coordinate with internal QA/QC reviewers, financial analysts, and administrative assistants.
This position will require an estimated 25% - 35% travel/field work for site inspections and meetings with client site representative and construction contractors.
B.S. or M.S. degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of experience. Texas-Licensed P.E. certification is required.
Excellent writing/verbal communication skills for interaction with multi-disciplinary staff, clients and regulatory agencies.

Proficient using typical business software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Adobe, etc.).
AutoCAD/GIS experience is preferred.
