As a Project Manager in Pittsburgh, PA, you will have the chance to impact the critical and exciting engineering challenges facing CH2M's water clients. Working with other members of our team, you’ll tackle a variety of green stormwater infrastructure, wet-weather flow management, wastewater treatment, and conveyance projects. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to conduct planning evaluations, studies, and designs for municipal water resources projects. Our Project Managers:
•Mentor junior staff on challenging projects.
•Develop proposals and contribute to client relationships and business development efforts.
•Independently evaluate the selection and/or modification of standard techniques, procedures, criteria and systems to efficiently meet project goals.
•Prepare models, engineering specifications, data sheets, sketches, drawings and perform calculations in support of engineering activities.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
•Minimum 8 years of water resources planning and engineering.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
•Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering with an water resources, engineering specialty or a related engineering discipline.
•Professional Engineering License (PE) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or ability to gain reciprocity.
•Previous professional experience with a consulting firm serving municipal clients
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Professional society involvement.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience serving our local clients.
