200K sq.ft. Plant with 500 employees, 5-day, 3 shift, 3 mogul lines, 14 packaging lines, producing 30mm products daily. Company holds 37% of this market.
Manage daily operations of the warehouse, freight, shipping and receiving, returns and transfers maintaining accuracy in day-to-day operations,
leads and develops the warehouse team to provide outstanding customer service to the client companies.
Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
Negotiate and liaise with suppliers, manufactures, retailers and consumers.
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
Manage the inventory of inbound and outbound materials
5+ years’ supervisory experience in Warehouse, Supply Chain and managing a large team.
Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Knowledge of KPI’s, MRP / ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite.
Certification in Material Management, APICS and Lean Supply Chain would be ideal.
