This position requires integration support to for VTC, Telepresence, other Unified Communications solutions for a large enterprise. The successful candidate should be able to follow architecture, system, and network requirements (hardware and software), as well as support integration and testing of solution implementation. The candidate will work closely with other solution/network engineers to design and test the interoperability of solutions that satisfy customers’ capability requirements and bring those capabilities to reality. An understanding of the technical aspects of a wide range of secure and non-secure voice and video communication solution’s as well as other solutions’ systems and networks capabilities and risks is required in order to provide oversight of integration activities and technical advice for post-implementation sustaining support. The candidate will also be responsible to update/report all progress and concerns to the on- site Service and Operations Managers. Collaborate with cross-functional team members to integrate, test, and document the project’s technical solutions. Identify interface requirements and document dependencies between solutions in order to support the analysis of impacts of proposed replacements or changes to existing solutions and life-cycle refresh of solutions hardware and software infrastructure. Participate in the development of technical documentation, test plans, test results, provide comments and suggest improvements, while maintaining configuration control over the documentation. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of modern voice and video telecommunication and unified communications systems and network architectures to support the same including cloud-based technologies, industry best practices for voice and video communications networking design, along with the requirements of the supporting server and software infrastructures on premises, in the cloud, and hybrid. The candidate will leverage their technical background to create technical documentation that defines proposed infrastructure and networking designs to the degree that enables successful implementation of solution alternatives.
 
Required: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service skills with the ability to multi task. Ability to translate technical details to generic concepts. Understand Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM). Understand Network/System accreditation process Risk Management Framework (RMF). Strong understanding of Cisco Telepresence solutions, other Unified Communications solutions, and IP networking, including familiarity with the functionality, operating, and failure modes of common networking devices, and the ability to analyze network behavior, and performance and application issues related to voice and video communications. 9+ years’ experience managing and troubleshooting within an large enterprise. Understanding of network hardware and software needs. Experience in network design/network architecting and planning. An understanding of network vulnerabilities. Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technologies and products, independently using documentation and online resources. This position requires support for integration of communications solutions for a large enterprise. The successful candidate must be able to clearly follow architecture, system, and network requirements (hardware and software), as well as support planning and architecture development. The candidate will work closely with other system/network engineers to design solutions that satisfy capability requirements and bring those capabilities to reality. An understanding of the technical aspects of the specific Cisco Telepresence solution’s as well as other solutions’ systems and networks vulnerabilities is required in order to provide oversight of design activities and technical advice for post- implementation sustaining support. The candidate will also be responsible to update/report all progress and concerns to the on- site Service and Operations Managers. Collaborate with cross-functional team members to design project technical solutions’ documentation. Identify missing topics and fill gaps in existing information. Participate in the development of technical documentation, provide comments and suggest improvements, while maintaining configuration control over the documentation.
