The applicant will be responsible for managing, configuring and troubleshooting various video-teleconferencing (VTC) capabilities on different security domains at the Air Force Squadron level. Applicants will identify and deliver required audio-visual service levels according to customer policies and user requirements; set-up, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot teleconferencing & video conferencing equipment, multimedia devices, televisions, monitors, projectors, recording equipment, speaker sets, and other presentation equipment; and receive and respond to incoming calls, walkups, and/or e-mails regarding AV and VC software/hardware problems. Applicants will perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex AV and VC hardware problems for customer, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including onsite repair as needed; document instances of AV equipment failure, repair, installation, and removal and tag or label AV equipment owned by the organization and periodically audit inventories to mitigate risk of damage or theft and comply with security policies and procedures. Previous experience with DISN Video Services Global (DVS-G) / Video Information Exchange Services (VIXS); Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) proxies; and Cisco / Tandberg VTC equipment and service providers is required.
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of overall related video teleconferencing experience. Additional training, relevant certification, and/or years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Currently possess Cisco Video Network Specialist or Telepresence Solutions Specialist certification and DoD IAT Level II certification.TS/SCI clearance will be required to perform assigned duties.
