The VideoAmp People Team is looking for a Strategic Advisor who will be responsible for cultivating the culture and growth for the business throughout the candidate and employee experience. This role will be the business liaison to oversee organizational design, talent planning, in-role development, internal mobility and consultation throughout the entire work experience lifecycle in closer partnership with the Chief People Officer. As an advisor to the business, you are passionate about all things data and tech, and have extensive knowledge and curiosity around the digital sector with the ability to dive deep into business segments to proactively solve problems. You have experience building organizations that are scalable, durable and strong through leveraging organizational design methods, implementing strategies to retain, develop and promote our talent. You thrive by partnering, coaching and advising leadership and employees alike to build trusted relationships rooted in our Company Values. You have a ‘people first’ orientation in the way you navigate complex interpersonal coaching, investigations and resolutions to further a productive work culture. This role reports to the Chief People Officer and is based at VideoAmp HQ2 in New York City.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the lead advisor to aligned business segments including senior and front-line managers to oversee and define key results and deliverables, in partnership with CPO
- Implement newly introduced Talent Management strategies including performance development and management solutions, coaching, high-potential talent identification, high-performance acceleration and succession planning aligned to our company Values
- Ability to oversee Talent Acquisition advisory for aligned businesses in order to attract, assess and hire the best talent aligned to our Company Values
- Lead talent and succession planning activities within aligned business functions as an input to executive level talent calibration reviews
- Play an active role in implementing new compensation philosophies and mechanisms to promote a consistent and equitable semi annual compensation review and reward allocation
- Bring a creative and innovative approach to strategic people efforts at every stage of the talent lifecycle
- Thought-leader of next-in-class people techniques and willingness to explore experimental tactics and tailor plans to meet the needs of aligned businesses
- Serve as lead person to conduct thorough employee relations investigations end-to-end with proven ability to triage and solve employee relations issues with grace and trust
- Ability to connect business-related priorities and strategies to organizational and functional areas
- Partner with people insights, employee experience, learning & organization development, talent acquisition, workplace experience and senior leadership
- Work as a trusted advisor with every department at the company and support various teams as a career coach, advisor and sounding board
- Model and embed company values and manifesto in all activities, processes and mechanisms
- Coach leaders and employees through career transitions and challenging situations
- Measure everything that matters in order to use data to inform business priorities and holistic employee experience
- Provide superior hospitality to leaders and employees to constantly raise the performance bar
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with high-trust and strong personal judgement
- Serve as a trusted member of the People team and ambassador of the organization
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 12+ years of experience leading in human resources and/or business partnership
- 7+ years of experience working in or leading progressive Talent Acquisition and Selection functions
- 5+ years of Talent Management experience creating and implementing performance systems
- Experience in individual career and professional development coaching experience; certification is a plus
- Experience leading organization design and development within tech-centered organizations
- Passion leading teams and developing people within Talent Acquisition advisory and business partnership experience
- Certifications in leading-edge human capital assessment tools (e.g. Korn Ferry / Lominger, DiSC, Firo-B, Emergenetics, MBTI, CCL and/or NeuroLeadership Institute methodologies, etc.)
- Experience making data-driven decisions and influencing through data insights and analytics
- Proven partnership with both tech and non-tech functional leaders in addition to fostering close collaboration with People team subject matter experts (SMEs)
- College degree required with a focus in the areas of business, human resources or industrial/organizational design preferred
