Kforce's Milwaukee, Wisconsin (WI) client is looking to bring on a VP, Senior Human Resource Business Partner to their organization. The Senior HR Business Partner provides strategic and tactical HR support to a larger client group or multiple lines of business. Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with senior leadership teams and HR COE'S to design and deliver value-added HR solutions
  • Effectively executes employee relations, talent management, performance management, communications, compensation, employee engagement, and HR analytics within their assigned client group(s)
  • Serves as primary H.R. contact for assigned business unit executive(s) and their direct reports
  • Position reports to SVP - Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition & Talent Programs
  • Develops and implements strategies to attract, develop and retain top talent
  • Consults with business unit executives to ensure that HR programs, practices, and processes are executed effectively; Provides a strong HR perspective -to the table-
  • Provides employee relations coaching and counsel for managers to ensure consistency of practice and policy interpretation, as well as mitigate legal risk
  • Helps maximize the effectiveness of performance management; understands and leverages the linkage of business strategy, individual performance goals, and compensation
  • Assists client group leaders in total comp administration to include salary, incentives and rewards and recognition
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in the area of retention and employee engagement
  • Effectively leverages HR Analytics to help drive effective LOB decisions on HR matters
  • Effectively utilizes HR COEs identify and share client group business needs

Requirements

  • BS required, Business, Finance or related field
  • Masters in a related field preferred (M.B.A., etc.)
  • SPHR or PHR certification a plus
  • 6+ years of related experience at a financial services institution, of which 2 years should be working as a primary HR contact, including employee relations

  • Human Resources knowledge and experience and the areas of employee development, talent management, employee relations, employee engagement, broad-base and incentive compensation, performance management, and HR analytics
  • Ability to interact and influence others effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong facilitation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability/preference to work in a full multi-tasking environment
