VP, Sales: Major Account development; Sales Force Transformation
Our client is a middle-market consumer products innovator and a market leader in their sector, growing historically through acquisitive growth and strong organic initiatives.
Your mandate is to revitalize and lead the sales organization for this well-established consumer products company with long-standing relationships with major accounts in the Mass, DIY/Home Improvement and Grocery & Drugstore retailchannels. You will show transformational leadership in developing innovative new strategies to grow presence in their various markets, while leading organizational change and optimization within the sales functions.
You will bring a track record of success in leading sales organizations through aggressive organic growth and building strong and lasting relationships with major retail customers. You will bring creativity and innovation in your approach to developing accounts and be a “hands-on” leader who leads by example. Your background will include deep exposure to the Mass, Home Improvement and/or Grocery & Drugstore, Specialty and Club retailchannels. Ideally you will have led in corporate initiatives driving process optimization in the sales function and be able to drive operational change while leading aggressive business growth.
