A Leading Investment Bank in either Manhattan or Jersey City is seeking a VP/QA Lead/Hands-On QA Manager to help them establish a Quality Assurance Engineering Practice. MUST HAVE AUTOMATION, RELEASE MANAGEMENT, CONTINUOUS INTEGRATION, CLOUD, DEVOPS, AND FINANCIAL EXPERIENCE.
CRM & Analytics Team Overview:
The CRM & Analytics team is a highly strategic and cross-functional team responsible for leading the firm?s global digitalization effort. This initiative, spanning all client-facing business units and corporate functions, will drive innovation and strategic change through technology, data science, and deep analytics. The team partners with key business leaders and industry experts to build transformational technology to drive revenue, maximize efficiency, and optimize the allocation of resources. The CRM & Analytics team is at the forefront of the Firm?s cloud initiative, leveraging best-in-class cloud-based technologies to replace legacy on-premises solutions to provide intelligent trend insights, actionable opportunities, decision support, and transparency into all client and business-related activities.
We are looking for a senior-level professional to help us establish Quality Engineering practice for the organization. This is a unique opportunity to be at the ground floor and define tools, processes, resource mix and best practice for creating a high-performing quality assurance and SDLC automation team that is critical for the success of the company global digitization initiative. We are looking for an individual that can roll up the sleeves and start with hands-on work while rapidly building out the team and leading the overall strategy for QA and Automation.
? Define and implement appropriate QE and automation toolchain for the organization
? Define processes, best practices for quality assurance and automation across multiple work streams and technologies
? Establish automated ALM and release management process (releases, continuous integration, automated testing, devOps)
? Help define the desired skill matrix and hire the right resources
? Interface with stakeholders, consultants, technical and functional members of the team and help establish quality driven quality embedded practices throughout the organization
? Quality assurance best practices, tools and frameworks
? Experienced implementing release management automation and continuous integration tools and processes
? Strong management skills including blended and geographically distributed teams
? Testing and automation across heterogenous technology stack
o Web, Mobile, Desktop, Analytics, Data
? Financial industry experience is a plus
