  • Driving consumer brand PR & Communications strategy, managing agency resources to elevate brand awareness for priceline.com products and services to global audiences
  • Developing traditional and digital brand and consumer strategies and campaigns working alongside priceline.com’s Brand and Social Media teams
  • Developing strategic communications plans for corporate and trade initiatives, drafting global communications messaging and presentation materials, creating thought leadership positioning, and creating a standardized process for Priceline.com’s participation in public-facing events
  • Identifying new areas of opportunity to drive positive earned media for the priceline.com brand through traditional, digital and social mediachannels
  • Maximizing return by utilizing paid, earned and owned media channels
  • Overseeing all media relations, from the development of proactive consumer campaigns to the efficient reactive management of direct inquiries
  • Expanding blogger and influencer engagement strategy as part of overall earned media strategy
  • Aligning internal and external communications initiatives to positively promote brand, consumer and employee messages to all core audiences internally and externally
  • Maintaining the department’s Editor-in-Chief role managing priceline.com’s earned media content strategy, external-facing Media Room website, and ensuring timely and relevant dissemination of news and content across all platforms
  • Developing a consistent and comprehensive measurement approach to track 1) volume and sentiment of earned media exposure, as well as direct traffic and engagement as a result of external Communications efforts; 2) employee engagement and sentiment as a result of internal Communications efforts


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years in Brand Communications with a demonstrated focus on consumer PR
  • Proven experience in traditional media relations and digital media communications
  • Proven leadership experience and an ability to set and guide communications strategy and execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinker, familiar with online tools and various digitally-oriented communication tactics and distributionchannels
  • Forward-thinking in identifying new communications methods, technologies and strategies and resourceful enough to implement new ideas, technology and software quickly
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high volume, high priority initiatives
  • High level of independence, energy and motivation.
