Under the direction of a Chief Operating Officer administers, directs and coordinates the functions of the Patient Care Departments within the Community Hospital. Responsible for leading the Patient Care Departments in the development, implementation and coordination of high-quality, high-valued patient care within the Community Hospital through the identified key outcomes. Participates with PH leadership, governing bodies, management, medical staff and clinical leaders in organizational decision-making and the strategic planning.
Must have a BSN from accredited program. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). Must have a Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.
Must have current RN licensure by the Indiana State Board of Nursing.
Must have a minimum of five years progressive management experience within an acute care setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates current working knowledge and understanding of JCAHO/ISDOH and other regulatory agencies. Must possess strong customer service skills and clinical program/coworker development skills.
