SCOPE OF POSITION
The Vice President, Oncology is responsible for oversight of oncology services and assisting the Vice President, Service Line Management in development, planning, and operations.
The VP will have oversight of, development, and operation of the oncology service line across markets to improve quality and financial performance. This individual will make recommendations regarding innovation within assigned service lines. The VP will assist in development of marketing plans, as well as act as a liaison with private and employed physician groups to coordinate efforts.
The VP will work with market leadership and steering committees to provide effective coordination of efforts across assigned service lines. In addition, the VP will recommend and track metrics for performance to track quality, patient satisfaction and financial performance. This individual will provide oversight to various corporate service line related programs as assigned, including but not limited to palliative care and navigation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Medical Management or a Doctor of Medicine required. Leadership experience and experience with service line management required. Individual should have demonstrated experience with management necessary to work with diverse constituents effectively. Ideal candidate would have five years executive level leadership in an oncology program.
Valid and active MD licensure from appropriate state (if a MD is held)
Valid and active ACHE or FACHE preferred
