What This Role is About:

RapidSOS is looking for a VP of Sales with a focus on home security / connected home or personal emergency response sectors. As RapidSOS expands into various safety, security, and health monitoring markets, the VP of Sales will pursue large strategic opportunities and build out a sales organization to power the $100B+ spent annually to have data verbally relayed to 911 and first responders (digital health, home security, commercial security, mobility, etc.).

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with the entire organization to drive revenue
  • Responsible for meeting sales targets and quotas in key targets and accounts across technology and telecom verticals
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle from initial outbound inquiries through closing initial deal (working with team to structure deals)
  • Implement and manage the sales process including building and leading a sales organization
  • Work independently to prospect, pursue, and close deals

What We'd Like to See in Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience selling into major tech/telecom or safety/security in 6-7 figure deals
  • Experience with consultative sales with more complicated products/services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as stakeholder management, sales systems design, and data analysis experience
  • Demonstrated track record of personally driving $20M+ of annual recurring revenue
  • An entrepreneur with a bias for action, doer
  • Someone who can shift from a strategic mindset to rolling up their sleeves and supporting the product implementation
  • Excellent at building and motivating teams
  • Highly curious and quick learner who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced collaborative environment
