We are seeking a seasoned VP of Sales with the demonstrable ability to manage a highly productive sales team. This person will be responsible for managing a revenue generating team. The VP of Sales will be responsible for building, managing, mentoring, and leading the sales organization. We are seeking an enthusiastic staff member who has worked in fast-growing companies, has experience in handling a wide range of sales management initiatives, and who can work independently.
Success in this position means that the staff member be exceptionally well organized, flexible and patient, and enjoy the challenges of supporting and motivating a team of dedicated sales professionals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Develop and maintain a sales plan, which is aligned with the strategy for Our Client at large.
? Create and assure utilization of sales tools (e.g., CRMs, call plans, collateral, ROI calculators) that assist in selling success.
? Provide metrics, dashboard systems, and reporting that help the company manage its return on investment (e.g., sales pipeline).
? Building, managing, and leading the sales and marketing departments.
? Continually assess opportunities for additional business with new and existing customers
? Establish our client as a thought-leader in the reimbursement support industry through networking, speaking engagements, and other tactics.
? Pipeline management.
? Developer of sales target strategy.
? Contributor to budgeting and commission planning.
? Demonstrate progress through analysis and forecasting, and presentation of conclusions and recommendations to executive team.
Education & Experience Requirements:
8-10 years of successful sales experience with several of those years operating at a sales management level with similar revenue and direct report responsibility in a business-to-business environment.
? A Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work-related experience is required. MBA desirable.
? Strong sales metric analysis skills to diagnose and coach sales reps to improved performance
? Management activity must include the training, directing and evaluating of inside salesassociates.
? Must possess excellent and proven people management skills, including resolving conflict, sales coaching and developing others, promoting teamwork, and performance management.
? Must have a successful track record in leading Sales Team meeting sales quota objectives.
? Must be willing to learn and adapt as necessary to accommodate changes in industry and company directions.
