Getaround is looking for Vice President, People to grow and lead our People function. Getaround’s VP, People will be an influential member of the Executive Team with full responsibility for the development and execution of Getaround’s strategic People Ops initiatives. We are looking for a highly motivated leader to develop a world-class employee experience for Getaround’s rapidly growing team, and to help us to continue to attract, develop and retain an outstanding organization. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of Getaround’s People Operations
  • Design and build the systems and processes that will enable the company to scale effectively
  • Build a winning organization from the top-down by implementing human capital solutions that promote a culture of leadership, collaboration and accountability during a period of rapid growth
  • Implement world class people operations across the entire employment life-cycle, including recruiting and retention, performance management/ review processes, compensation and training to deliver the highest standards of support to Getaround’s team
  • Build an effective recruiting team that will work with key stakeholders across the organization to plan and execute on long-term people needs
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all employment related aspects of the organization, across local, state, national and international standards

What you'll need:

  • 15+ years experience building and leading a People Team that delivers an exceptional employee experience
  • Experience scaling the People function in a hyper-growth startup environment
  • Track record of developing innovative, forward-thinking talent development and retention strategies
  • Strong program/project management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated integrity with a business and solution-oriented approach to resolving issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly distill important information
  • Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with internal and external partners, and comfortable interacting with teammates across departments and experience levels
