We are a fast growing startup committed to building a team with uncommon talent. This requires a leader with experience to lead investment in our talent, culture, and capabilities to fuel the growth of our business. You have experience in both HR and Recruiting, and are an excellent mentor and coach who can motivate teammates located in multiple offices and time zones. You will partner with all areas of the company to help our team build and support their organizations. This will involve driving recruitment of the best talent, coaching on team leadership, helping to resolving employee relations issues and managing programs that help develop staff. This position is a key strategic role in the company helping to grow the business and allowing us to build a unique and strong people oriented culture at Presto.

We care a lot about our people and culture, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion for building strong companies from within. This position is based in Redwood City, working alongside our management team, and will report to the CEO.


Responsibilities:

  • Utilize knowledge of business needs and priorities to develop recruiting strategies and programs that ensure an ongoing pipeline of top talent to fill positions at all levels in the organization including strategic and executive positions
  • Provide expert guidance, facilitation and collaboration for all senior leaders and hiring leaders to recruit, identify, select, onboard, and retain highly skilled best in class candidates
  • Leverage HR best practices to run a small HR team to service the day to day needs of the business
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to the Talent Acquisition team and hiring leaders on interviewing best practices, offer recommendations, negotiating/creating job offers, closing, and administrative functions involved in full cycle recruiting
  • Build a strong, credible relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers and critical stakeholders;, operating as trusted advisor and subject matter expert
  • Provide human resources support and consultation across the business on the most complex issues, supporting staff, managers and executives in all related areas and regions including: recruitment, performance management, compensation and rewards, staff relations, and people development
  • Provide useful data to help guide decision making, and allow the company to scale effectively and efficiently. Provide leadership on people related issues and policies across the company
  • Be able to communicate at all levels in the company and to support business development and change
  • Design, implement and maintain the appropriate processes, tools, systems and training necessary to scale and support the recruiting function
  • Create a strategic plan for and organizational model that provides a unique menu of talent services designed to operate at a scale and efficiency for the business and talent acquisition function
  • Build talent communities and talent pipelines for critical skill areas and diversity sourcing efforts, that yield into hiring outcomes for the business
  • Manage efficient, fast-paced full-cycle recruiting operations that support Presto's rapid growth plans
  • Develop and implement employer branding efforts and strategy for Presto

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of broad recruiting and leadership experience in Talent Acquisition or People Operations role
  • Experience in leading a People Operations, Recruiting or Human Resources team
  • A successful track-record of talent acquisition management at a rapidly growing technology company
  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing a metrics-driven, consultative service oriented recruiting strategy for a growing organization
  • Ability to develop business cases and service requirements, influence and foster trust with stakeholders at all levels, while creating and managing strategic alliances
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing and recruiting platforms/tools, and employer brand best practices
  • Strong interpersonal savvy and self-awareness with strong written and verbal communication skills
