We are growing fast and we are looking for a person to lead our Human Resources function as we become a world-class company that attracts, motivates and retains top talent. Responsibilities include:
Strategic HR: Understand the company?s strategic direction, challenges and opportunities and create and execute a forward-looking strategic human resources plan that enables it and creates a competitive advantage.
Lead the Human Resources function: Lead the HR team and represent it at the executive level.
Accelerate recruitment and fit: Assess and implement different ways to accelerate our recruiting success. Continue to refine our talent branding strategy and story for new recruits.
Company culture: Understand aspects of the company culture that enable our success. Put in place plans to reinforce and strengthen the culture as the company grows. Identify places where our culture can be improved and introduce ways to shape it.
Maximize retention: Understand what motivates all employees, with an emphasis on key personnel or positions.
Create plans and training programs to help employees develop skills for new roles, particularly first time managers.
Ensure succession plan in place for all key positions
Assess personnel gaps in organizational structure and recommend plans to close them.
As a senior member of the company you?ll be expected to participate in strategy discussions, bring a hunger for accomplishment, contribute to the culture and momentum of the company and represent the company in front of partners, board members and investors.
BS/MSpreferred in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
Minimum of 15years of HR management experience, with at least five years of senior level experience in HR management
Proven experience and strength in strategic HR.
Experience leading HR in both small and large organizations in Silicon Valley, ideally in high-tech and hardware companies, and in areas where competition for talent is intense.
Proven experience in all areas of Human Resources with a strong focus on recruiting, motivating and retaining employees.
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to connect with others in genuine and meaningful ways.
Ability to ?roll-up your sleeves? and lead by example when needed.
