The VP of Environmental Applications is responsible to oversee any and all administrative functions required for the applications and automated tools to run efficiently while maintaining an accurate and up to date database to satisfy all organizational and informational tracking needs, customer reporting requirements, and any regulatory reporting requirements. The VP will also develop new and enhance existing systems to meet the growing companies’ needs, make recommendations to executive management for change, and interact with all phases of Environmental business (waste, oil, branches, compliance, billing, IT, sales, field service, Insite, customers)

Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Interface with IT department to meet the plant needs with regard to system requirements and needs and set priorities;
Design and spec new programs needed and debug existing programs;
Act as Business Analyst for new waste application projects.
Act as hotline to employees around the country for any system related issues, including working with IT for resolution;
Work closely with billing department to resolve any plant issues holding up invoicing;
Work closely with E-Commerce and sales reporting department to answer all waste tracking related activities;
Responsible for managing system waste tracking processes;
Oversee waste tracking month-end electronic inventories at all facilities;
Write and update waste tracking inventory standard operating procedures (SOPs);
Oversee year end inventory and work closely with outside auditors for inventory compliance purposes;
Lead integration team on any new facility acquisitions to get them integrated with custom waste information network;
Write SOP's or training papers for any new system releases to the user community;
Currently responsible for monthly reports, QC'ing, making corrections and working with retail teams to get valid corrected data;
Participate in QBR's with key customers, which includes travel as required;
System IT application manager for all 150 waste locations;
Work with IT to constantly update logic to meet EPA requirements;
Work closely with all TSDF's to resolve any E-manifest issues;
Point person in company for all E-manifest question from both internal and external resources;
Attend E-manifest Advisory Board meetings in DC and represent Clean Harbors;
Bi-weekly conf calls with EPA technical team for updates and to provide guidance from TSDF perspective;
Set up and manage remote receiving team in other Clean Harbor’s facilities;
Create training docs for all drivers to use mobile application;
Implement training for all field drivers on system requirements;
Other Duties as Assigned.
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
Willing to travel away from home up to 10-25%;
Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences, Technology or related field;
10+ years’ experience working with environmental statutes and regulations; Knowledge of Company Policies & Procedures; Knowledge of Company Priorities;
Teamwork, multi-tasker, WIN system experience, analytical approach, process assessment ability, problem solving;
Ability to prioritize requests from different divisions of the company with limited IT resources.
