POSITION LOCATION: Position based out of Raleigh Concord Headquarters
Function as the strategic leader of Digital Marketing for Concord’s hotel portfolio and food & beverage establishments, with the ability to drive strategy for all classes of hotels to include independent assets, lifestyle brands, and from moderate hotel brands to upper upscale/luxury brand hotels. Handle responsibilities for the development or implementation of Concords digital efforts used to market Concord as a top tier Hotel Management and Development enterprise. Serve as the macro architect in developing, implementing, and monitoring the company’s digital marketing platform to include oversight for its resources, structure, systems, policies, standards and tactics delivered at the hotel level. Overall effectively market and manage Concord’s Centralized digital marketing service achieving financial success while driving high levels of hotel and ownership satisfaction.
KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and effectively direct Concord’s digital marketing team
Oversees all processes associated with digital marketing reporting & analysis to identify and evaluate new marketing opportunities to achieve an increase in direct internet traffic and online production.
Work effectively and in alignment with Concord’s Regional Sales/Operations leaders and Concords Revenue Management group.
Maintain a high level of digital marketing knowledge both within the hotel industry and outside the industry to stay current on the latest trends in the field of digital marketing.
Oversee all aspects of managing the Concord Centralized Digital Marketing Shared Service Agreements that are extended to hotel ownership groups.
Engage and develop strong relationships with key brand leaders in the digital marketing discipline and leverage brand engagement and marketing opportunities for our hotels effectively.
Handle the execution, and schedule of strategies and tactics for Pre-Opening hotels, restaurants and bars as delegated by SVP of S&M.
Effectively participate in the preparation and presentation of Concords digital marketing efforts for hotel ownership presentations as well as perspective ownership/partner pitches.
Ensure proper hotel leader training is provided so Concord GM’s and Sales Leaders effectively participate in brand e-Tools and other digital programs offered by the brand or other independent vendors.
Travel and visit Concord hotel as needed & requested by the SVP of S&M.
Ensure a high level of services and Concord digital team knowledge for all major aspects, including SEO, PPC, Retailing, Website Management, Social Media, etc... So to present a strong competitive advantage and value proposition for Concord to leverage with its owners and brand partners...
Strong technology ability to work with I.T. department on implementing new internal technologies to better position Concord as a 3rd party management company.
Ensure hotels are meeting brand standards in the area of digital marketing to include website management and social media platforms.
Along with SVP of S&M develop digital marketing tactics for Focus Hotels to drive positive RevPAR Index in all of our hotels. To include reviewing hotel forecasts, etc...
Ensure Concord hotels have a high level of hotel photography displayed on their sites and used in all aspects of on-line marketing.
Provide both holiday season and special event strategies specific to hotels and markets as well as analysis on past performance.
Strong communicator at all levels of the organization ranging from property communication, corporate and regional support, to Executive Team and Ownership. Strong teacher, influencer, and director.
Provide annual budget guidance and recommendations for hotel eCommerce budgets.

Requirements Digital Hotel or Restaurant/Bar Industry Experience - REQUIRED/NO EXCEPTIONS
• Multi-Hotel Class experience, Life Style, Boutique and Independent Hotel background preferred
• High capability for building and implementing strong reporting and analytics to measure Digital Marketing impact across many different business units, brands, etc..
• Strong current hotel brand industry relationships and key contacts with effective venders and partners who work and support the hotel industry
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Strong skill set and background in effectively marketing and operating a profitable Centralized Shared Service business unit.
• Strong background in hiring, recruiting and training/development of digital marketing managers
• Capacity to effectively and creatively expand Concords Digital Marketing platform to meet our aggressive growth goals the next 5-10 years
• Experience in successfully managing remote teams / organizations
TRAVELREQUIRED: As required, estimate 30% most months to travel to hotels, brand led meetings or current/future owner meetings and opportunities.
