We are seeking a VP of Credit Sales with a proven sales record of leading a team of sales professionals marketing credit and verification services to financial institutions. This is a remote position that can work from any location in the US.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship management and account management skills by demonstrating a prior history of meeting or exceeding assigned revenue goals.

General knowledge of all phases of sales management including forecasting, client relations, problem solving, employee relations, administration, telemarketing, prospecting and marketing are a must. Individuals should have a strong management background within the credit reporting industry with a mortgage background a plus.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Oversee the development and execution of strategies for a team of regional credit sales representatives tasked with prospecting new business opportunities, generating leads, driving sales, and increasing revenue through the residential mortgage marketplace.

The primary objective will be to drive year-over-year revenue for Chronos’ Credit & Verification Services business unit.

Other key objectives include:

- Develop and execute a strategy to ensure production, growth, profitability, and expense targets are achieved. Articulate a clear vision for the sales team that supports the mission and strategic direction of the organization and oversee the development and execution of territory business plans that outline key initiatives that support the overall strategy.

- Promote a sales culture of accountability and ensures business plans are in place to support the sales strategy. Drive a team highly focused on mastering the skills necessary to build a new business pipeline by effectively prospecting and developing new lead sources. Ensure team can negotiate effectively, adjust sales style and present information in a persuasive manner. Monitor and ensure Salesforce is utilized to manage these strategies. Ensures the sales team maximizes Salesforce to effectively manage client interactions.

- Provides coaching and direction to sales team for navigation through tough negotiations and objection handling.

- Ensure corrective action plans are developed and implemented as needed and provide the sales team coaching and support when communicating.

Required Skills:

- Bachelor’s Degreepreferred

- Deep understanding of the Credit & Verification Industry

- Min 5 years sales management experiencepreferred

- Proven track record of growing and sustaining sales

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Travel is required (25% or greater)
