Responsible for directing Medical City Arlington Hospital patient care areas including Nursing Administration, Critical Care Services, Medical/Surgical Services, Cardiovascular Services (Procedural and Diagnostic/Interventional), Neurovascular Services (Procedural and Diagnostic/Interventional) Orthopedic Services, Dialysis, Woundcare, and other areas as deemed appropriate.

  • Additional responsibility includes Disease-Specific program oversight related to chest pain care, stroke care, orthopedics, etc.
  • This role encompasses overall nursing operations, physician relations,community outreach, business development, and marketing.
  • Provides leadership for the strategic development and execution of operations to include in-patient and out-patient services.
  • Directs all departments and financial functions connected with the day-to-day management of the entity, directs quality and patient safety initiatives as well patient experience.
  • Performs additional duties at the request of the Chief Nurse Executive/Assistant Chief Nursing Officer.


  • Current Texas RN license.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required, Master's degreerequired.
  • Clinical and or leadership certification required.
  • 5 years of progressive management experience in Nursing Leadership.
  • Must demonstrate previous leadership experience in overseeing multiple patient care departments simultaneously.
  • Previous Critical Care clinical and leadership experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (i.e.., word, excel, outlook, power point).
