Job Description
• Work with Corporate & Investment bankers on M&A, strategic corporate finance, and capital raising transactions
• Lead and manage junior execution teams of Associates and Analysts supporting M&A transactions across industry groups
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and prospective clients through relationship development and M&A execution expertise
• Lead due diligence, pitches and other meetings with client management; design and prepare key transaction materials including valuation analyses, offering memoranda, and management presentations
• Oversee junior resources in financial modeling and valuation analyses on public and private companies: comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, leveraged buy-out analysis and discounted cash flow analysis
• Lead the development of marketing materials for topics such as company positioning, financing alternatives, and M&A/Strategic alternatives
• Vice Presidents within KeyBanc Capital Markets enjoy a unique developmental opportunity, as junior bankers have the opportunity for far greater responsibility and recognition than at other investment banks

Required Qualifications:
• MBA and at least three years of M&A experience or Undergraduate Degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, Econ) or Technical Sciences (Engineering, Physics) and six years of investment banking experience
• Strong quantitative skills, including financial modeling and financial statement analysis
• Possessing the ability to communicate effectively across deal teams (internally and externally)
• Extraordinary critical thinking and problem solving ability
• Demonstrated ability to manage deal teams
• Desire to be part of close-knit group operating in an intensive environment
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA, MA in Accounting, MS in Finance or other advanced financial certification (CFA/CPA)
• 6+ years investment banking M&A experience
• Series 7/79 & 63 (within six months of employment)

• Analyzing and synthesizing data
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong task prioritization skills, attention to detail
